Welcome to FolioCIII.com. I'm Alexia Rostow, an art historian and printmaker.  Here you will find information on the History and Techniques of Wood Engraving, some information and resources related to Letterpress Printing, and finally, some of my own prints for Sale. 

The medium in which I work is wood engraving, executed on Resingrave and wood blocks. My influences can be found in early European prints and printmakers, as well as my own interests and experiences.  My experience as an art history student has opened my eyes to many more styles and periods.  It has also given me the skills to weave imagery and symbolism effectively into a print.
